A fascia-informed learning community for horse and human

The Equine Fascia & Somatics Community

ABOUT THE COMMUNITY

The Equine Fascia Somatics Community is a subscription-based learning and discussion space focused on fascia-informed, somatic perspectives in equine work.

It offers shared learning, webinars, and conversation without prescribing methods, techniques, or outcomes.

How the Community Works

The Equine Fascia Somatics Community is guided primarily by Liza Kimble and functions as an ongoing learning and inquiry space.

Twice a month, we host fortnightly Zoom check-ins. These sessions are an intimate forum for applied inquiry, where members can bring real questions, observations, and challenges from their work with horses.

Together, we explore these situations through a fascia-informed, somatic, and nervous-system-aware lens. This can include problem-solving, reflection, and contextual discussion, always grounded in listening and understanding rather than prescriptive instruction.

All check-in sessions are recorded, with access to recordings shared within a day or two.

Language and Accessibility

To support accessibility and inclusion, community check-ins are offered in both English and German, with:

Who this community is for

While it is recommended that members have completed at least one EFTR module to support shared language and understanding, this is not required.designed to support depth, continuity, and thoughtful engagement, without pressure to attend everything or keep up.

Scope and container

The Equine Fascia Somatics Community is an educational and discussion-based space.

It supports learning through conversation, shared observation, case exploration, and reflection. While real situations and questions are welcome, the community does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or prescriptive instruction.

This space is not a training programme, certification pathway, or professional supervision forum. It does not replace formal education, veterinary care, or structured courses such as EFTR Fascia & Trauma Release.

Contributions from Liza and other facilitators are offered in the spirit of learning and inquiry, drawing on experience and perspective rather than directive advice.

Members are encouraged to apply what they learn responsibly, within the scope of their own training, professional boundaries, and the needs of the individual horse.

Meet the team

EFTR & FTR Founder | Facilitator

Liza Kimble

Liza is the founder of Fascia & Trauma Release (EFTR) and has spent many years exploring how fascia, trauma, and the nervous system shape both equine and human experience. Her work is grounded in listening, safety, and respect for the body’s natural responses.

Within the Equine Fascia Somatics Community, Liza offers guidance through conversation, observation, and shared inquiry. She brings depth, curiosity, and lived experience to the space, supporting thoughtful exploration rather than quick answers.

Community Coordinator

Samantha Ancy

Sam manages the administrative and back-end operations of the platform including member access, scheduling, and general support. She ensures that the systems run smoothly and reliably, creating a stable foundation for learning and engagement.

She is also the voice behind MacLeod and Me, a platform grounded in equine welfare, ethics, and listening-led horsemanship. Alongside this work, Samantha is a gut health practitioner who approaches health and behaviour through a somatic, trauma informed lens.

A space for depth, curiosity, and thoughtful engagement.
